What can I do if I see a car parked in my neighborhood which I think may be abandoned?
The City of Salinas has a team specifically designated to handle abandoned vehicles and long-term parking problems. These problems are generally handled on a complaint basis. You can report an abandoned vehicle from the City of Salinas website, the Salinas Police Department website, SalinasConnect mobile app, or by calling the 24 hour reporting number at (831) 758-7316. The abandoned vehicle office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
